Free Cruises

I have had the most fun the past year seeing how many free cruises I could get. It all started with the Wyndham Business Earner card. I did not think I was eligible for a business card a year ago but after I looked at the 10xtravel course I realized that I actually had a non-profitable business that qualified. I would highly recommend you check out their course and see if this is something that could work for you!

After I got my WBE card in the mail I got to work. I went to Caesars Rewards Status Match | Wyndham Rewards (wyndhamhotels.com) and matched my status. This took almost a week. After I got my Diamond Status with Caesars Rewards I went to the app and found my card. I took a screenshot of it then sent it off to off to Carnival and Holland America casino departments. Within a week I had an offer from Carnival offering me a free balcony room and a link to the hundreds of cruises I could choose from. There were only a few balconies available and most were a year out but I decided I really wanted my free balcony and booked one for over a year out. (fun fact this trip still has not happened but it is soon!)

Holland America offered me a free interior room which I gladly accepted. You can read about that trip here.

After a while, I started seeing more articles that Princess and Virgin would also status match my Casesar’s Diamond. So I sent my card and offers I had gotten from Carnival and Holland America and boom! I had a free interior from Princess Cruise Lines and then Virgin offered me a free Balcony. You can read about those on my trips page.

My friend Mary asked me if I would be interested in going on a MSC cruise with her and some friends in January. I really wanted to go even though the cruise was very affordable. I decided I only wanted to go if I could get it free. I sent all my casino offers that I had received in the past year to a company called UrComped. I was offered a few free cruises but most importantly the one I wanted to go in January is on the list. I requested the cruise that I wanted to go on and 2 days later I was booked. All I had to pay was a $400 deposit ($200 per person) that I would get back as onboard credit when we got on the ship.

I hadn’t been in a Casino in almost 25 years when I started this challenge. However, after my Holland America cruise, I started researching how to get more free cruises through Casinos. Could I get more with limited out-of-pocket? I had plenty of downtime on my Princess Cruise in May. I started going to the Casino each day and playing $1 hands of Video Black Jack. I would get on a roll and increase my bet up to $5 a hand and if started losing I would go back to $1. I did this every day for an hour or so. I ended the cruise with about 2100 points I had hoped for 2500 but that was points all earned on the same $250 I started with. I ended up losing the $250 but I got a Come Back and Sail offer from Princess they would give $500 in free play on my next cruise. I was so excited to get that even though I had no intent of using it. My purpose was to see if I could get on the free cruise mailing list. The casinos offer free cruises to players that spend a lot of time in the casino. Even though I only donated $250 to this cause i was happy to see an email in June offering me free interior room cruises i just have to pay the taxes and fees (standard). Then this month I got offered more free cruises including another email that offered free balconies. I am still trying to figure out how to put these in my travel schedule. I hope to be booking one if not two of these this week.
