London Hotels
I am working on the final touches for our upcoming Norway Cruise. I booked an amazing deal thanks to a Princess Cruise casino deal. You can read more about it here.
After booking the cruise, I added almost free air (just taxes and fees) to and from London. That info can be found here.
The final step in this trip was getting hotels for pre and post-cruise in London. London hotels can be super expensive. I am thrilled I booked both nights at the same hotel for 35k points. I had almost 16,000 points in my Hyatt Account. I went to Chase Sapphire and moved the 20,000 I needed to get both nights free! The cash price of these rooms would have been over $900 US dollars. My parents are joining us on this trip so I am doing the same hotels for them on points too.
The hotel we are staying at is the Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars. We love hotels steeped in history and this one looks like it will do the trick. The five-star hotel is on the former grounds of King Henry VIII’s Bridewell Palace. It is within walking distance to St. Paul’s Cathedral It is a 2-minute walk to a rail station that will be helpful as we navigate ourselves in and out of London for our cruise.
My total for the whole trip is $620 for the cruise (with $400 onboard credit) + $700 for both our flights (taxes and fees) + 0 for hotel rooms.
$1320 for a 10-day vacation to Europe is a steal. Something we could not do if it was my credit card rewards and hacks.
