Stacking points

I love it when a good deal gets even better by stacking points and offers. I had a good one yesterday that I thought I would share.

I sent a gift to a friend from Cheryls.com for her birthday. I went through Rakuten as always! I saw I would get 2% back in points. Before I checked out, I remembered I had an American Express offer that if I paid with my American Express Platinum, I would get $15 off a $55 purchase. I love it when I can use more than one offer on something I am buying anyway. However, I had one more stack I didn’t even realize I had. When I uploaded my receipt to Fetch. I got 5000 more points. 5000 fetch points aren’t worth much but if we continually do this on all your purchases it starts to add up. I have enough fetch points for a $50 gift card from fetch.

Here is the info on fetch you might want to know. Fetch is an app on your phone that you can scan receipts and/or upload digital ones. I usually have my family members stack their weekly receipts on my computer. I take photos of them and get at least 25 points per receipt. They have bonus offers including 5000 back from Cheryl’s that I didn’t even know about until it hit my account.
