$2,775 trip for less than $425

My first trip of 2025 is quickly approaching. You can read about how I scored an amazing deal on my cruise here. To complete this deal I needed to book airfare and a hotel room the night before our cruise.

First, I booked flights for me and my son, Tanner using Southwest Rapid Rewards. I didn’t get the companion pass for 2025, so I had to book two tickets using points. If I booked the same flights today, the airfare would be $775 a person. We had to pay $11.20 a person for our round-trip flights (taxes and fees).

We are flying down the day before so we need to stay the night in a hotel. I chose Dreams South Beach. We were able to book a free hotel room on points that saved us $225. We drove by the hotel in November and to say I am excited about this stay is an understatement. I am so excited about this, my husband and I are going back to South Beach in February to celebrate our anniversary.o for less than $425 we are going on a 4-day cruise. Plus we will get back $400 in onboard credit. I plan on hitting the casino with this investment to see if I can get more free cruises from UrComped. I have several free Princess Cruises booked but most of theirs are a week and I would love to get some free shorter cruises too.

Free hotel, free flights, $400 on a cruise, and $400 in onboard credit is the perfect way to start 2025.
