MSC cruise for $500 total

Earlier this month I sailed on the MSC Divina thanks to a casino comped deal from Urcomped. You can read how I scored that deal here. I loved this sailing so much that I wanted to get back on her again soon. You can read my review of that trip by clicking here.

My friend Bree and I have been talking about a trip together for a while. I thought the MSC would be perfect for us. Even though I had some free interior cabins for Carnival, I wanted her to try MSC. I priced this trip out last week at $700. I was very excited to see this week, the dates we are looking at are a part of the MSC Flash Sale going on until 1/24/25.

Thanks to a status match to my Caesars Diamond, MSC gave me gold status. MSC status matches cruises and hotels if you want to see if you qualify for a status match check here. I was able to book an interior cabin bella for $500 total. Bella means I didn’t get us a specific room. We are fine our goal is to hang out by the pool, read books, and catch up. For $250 each this is a deal. If you want an ocean view on up those are on sale too!

Our sailing includes 2 days at the private island Ocean Cay Marine Reserve and a day in Nassau. Ocean Cay is amazing. I am so looking forward to sharing this with my friend.

To complete the deal: I booked flights on Southwest Points thanks to my rapid rewards. I just had to pay taxes and fees on my tickets. I am booking us a room in Ft Lauderdale the night before the cruise at a Hyatt on points. We will either shuttle or Uber to the port in Miami.

I love that using points and finding an incredible sale makes it affordable to catch up with a friend.
