These deals are extremely tempting. I get tons of deals but this one really caught my eye:

I really liked my last Carnival cruise, so I was anxious to book another. My cruise buddy Mary, aka Sunny Breezes, and I started talking about booking another cruise together after we got off the Sky Princess. Mary had just done training on Celebration Key, Carnival's new exclusive area in the Grand Bahamas.

We also wanted to do Princess Cay again. We just did it in February 2025. You can read about that here: Princess Cay.

We found a Carnival Conquest sailing out of Miami with both locations on the itinerary. Mary pulled up the price as it was $183 a person in total. We did upgrade to a room in the center of the ship for $5 each. Since this cruise only goes to Princess Cay and Celebration Key we should have no expense for shore excursions or additional food. The food on private islands is included.

I immediately booked my flight to Miami on Southwest Rapid Rewards. Flying in and out of Ft Lauderdale. It is fewer points and I prefer the Ft Lauderdale airport over Miami. I had to pay $11.20 for my flights but I haven’t used my credit on Chase Sapphire Reserve yet this year so that was refunded.

I will stay at Mary’s the night before so I won’t need a hotel this trip pre-cruise. My total for a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas is $188. I love pairing a casino deal with free flights through points.
